In Loving Memory of Jaylen Reeves

Our Jaylen

He was more than a teenager with big dreams, he was love in motion. A son, a grandson, a-friend, a teammate, and a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Sweet, confident driven, and full of life, he carried a smile that warmed hearts and a purpose greater than himself.

Family was everything to him.

They were his strength, his motivation, and his heart. No matter what he was chasing, whether it was on the field or in life, he did it for them. His biggest dream wasn’t just to go pro; it was to take care of the people he loved. “I’m going pro so I can buy my mom a house,” he used to say. That was the kind of soul he had selfless, loving, and full of gratitude.

Football was his passion. He was being scouted by colleges and working hard every day to build the future he envisioned. He was still growing, still learning, and becoming the man he was meant to be. But on November 16, 2024, that future was taken too soon when he was tragically stabbed to death. His life was cut short, his dreams were shattered, and hearts were broken.

But even in death, he gave life.

He became a hero by donating three of his organs, saving the lives of three others. Today, three people are alive—breathing, laughing, living—because of him. Through this final act of love, his spirit lives on.

We will not remember him for how he left this world, but for how he lived—with love, with loyalty, and with a heart full of dreams.

We love and miss our Jaylen so very much.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.

Unseen, unheard, but always near—still loved, still missed, and forever dear.”
