Nonprofit Grant Research & Writing Intern (Volunteer / Internship)
The Gillian Ragan Foundation is seeking a motivated college student or graduate student interested in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and grant development to assist our organization as a Grant Research & Writing Intern.
This role offers hands-on experience working with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families navigating the loss of a child while promoting mental health awareness and compassionate community support.
Responsibilities:
- Research grant opportunities aligned with the foundation’s mission
- Assist in drafting and organizing grant proposals
- Track grant deadlines and submission requirements
- Support the board with fundraising and development initiatives
- Help identify foundations and corporate sponsors that support mental health initiatives
Position Details
- Internship / Volunteer (Non-Voting Board Support Role)
- Flexible schedule (approximately 8–12 hours per week)
- Remote work available
- Ideal for students studying nonprofit leadership, public administration, social work, communications, or related fields
